Welcome to More Than a Cake-Stall, a podcast that explores the ways in which women of the Presbyterian Church of New South Wales (PCNSW) have used the gifts God has given them – however big or small - in service of the Kingdom. 

In Season 2, we present Grace Origins – a Christmas series where we will uncover the stories of grace in Jesus’ origin story. Join us as we recall the grace-filled lives of Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, Elizabeth, Mary and Anna. We trust that these stories will compel you to worship and adoration, preparing your heart to celebrate the birth of our King Jesus.

In the final Episode (7) for the season, Sylvia Siu reflects on the story of Anna. Anna is a prophetess who meets the baby Jesus in the temple, and recognises Him as the long awaited Messiah. You can read more of her story in Luke 2.
